This is related to a problem with the screen size. Most of them now have a 16:9 screen. So, it'd be better to save the vertical space by converting the horizontal tabs to vertical ones just like VSCode does.

Make the tabs vertical, auto-collapse (icon-only) and expand on hover (just like Edge vertical tabs)
