Thanks for your interest in being a mentor @HarshaNandi. MDAnalysis does not have a set of rules on who can be a mentor, we pick mentors based on the projects we anticipate folks will participate in and the mentors' prior experience with MDAnalysis / molecular modelling / any specific subtool that might be involved in a GSoC project. In this case, could you maybe provide us with some information on why you would be a good candidate for mentoring a GSoC project with MDAnalysis? For example, do you have prior experience in developing any of MDAnalysis, WESTPA, or molecular nodes? Or maybe there's a particular area of molecular modelling sciences that you would consider yourself an expert in that you think would be relevant to the proposed subjects? If not are there any GSoC project/collaboration ideas that involve MDAnalysis that you think you could lead? |
