Solar forcing - 2024+ CMIP7 dataset

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find information/guidance about the future solar forcing dataset for CMIP7. Am not sure who to ask hence my posting on this forum! Have searched the corners of the internet that I'm aware of but haven't found answers. It's entirely possible that I've been looking in the wrong places? Apologies if this is the case.

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the future solar forcing dataset will be monthly and/or and daily varying?
Also, what is the anticipated release date?

Hello @martinbandrews and @eleanororourke, the future solar forcing for 2024-2300 is currently in the making. It will be made available in daily and monthly resolution (the latter without particle forcing) with realistic variability at all timescales. We aim at an ensemble (about 20 members) of scenarios covering the expected variability range from which one (the one closest to the center of the PDF) will be chosen as reference scenario. We hope to have the dataset ready by end of June.
