ShredOS Lite vs. Full: System RAM Requirements

ShredOS now offers Lite versions for both x86-64 (64-bit) and i686 (32-bit) architectures, specifically designed for low-resource hardware.

Memory Requirements:

• Lite Versions: Boot successfully with just 512MB of RAM.
• Standard Versions: Requires a minimum of 2GB of RAM to run properly.

Notable changes in this release - ShredOS

• ShredOS grub and ISOLinux boot menus now contain memtest86 so that if you wish to test and confirm your CPU RAM is fault free you can now do this from the ShredOS boot menu. Thanks @PartialVolume Added memtest86+ to ShredOS boot menus #462
• If booting ShredOS on a system with a bitlocker encryted system disc, ShredOS would fail to find it's boot disc. This has been corrected. Thanks @desertwitch Fix shell scripting & Bitlocker issue #472
• Removed rpcbind from the remaining defconfigs that still contained it, (shredos_defconfig and shredos_iso_extra_defconfig). Since it is only necessary for NFS environments and presents potential security vulnerabilities, we have disabled it by default. While ShredOS should typically be shielded by hardware firewalls, this change ensures ShredOS remains secure even in less-than-ideal network configurations. Thanks and thank you for all the great additions you have made!

I had a couple of hiccups what with forgetting to bump the release from 28 to 29! and issues with the download labels but all is good now. That's what happens when you are watching the Artemis 2 launch and all the telemetry till three in the morning while publishing a ShredOS release. :-)

I'll be back working on the PDF code next and committing the outstanding PRs in nwipe for v0.41 shortly.
