apparently livekit supports e2e

however i was thinking about a different way that could work with tor, at least for my use case

audio is sent as chunks separated by silence, aka "yo, what's up?" is sent, then the receiver hears it and responds "not much, you?" and so on

screen sharing is fine as 1fps or even 1 frame every ten seconds, as it is just for code collab
