When is the next release?

I recently merged this PR here (#754). My motivation is that I internally would like to bump substrait-go to v8 in a repo at work, but we additionally have a dependency on iceberg-go and (transitively) arrow-go. I'm trying to figure out a timeline when I can expect to be able to get a released version of iceberg-go out with the next version of arrow-go available in it. If it is at all possible to do an arrow-go release soon, that would be great, but no worries if there is a standard release cadence.

Given the recent flurry of updates and fixes, I think i want to get #771 and #746 merged and then i'd be happy to do a new release (which would be 18.6.0). Does that work for you?
