I'm shipping logs from a few hosts to a central server that also hosts Cockpit. The remote logs are received in SplitMode=Host and end up in /var/log/journal/remote with one .journal file per host. I want to display these remote journals in Cockpit, so I can filter with _HOSTNAME=....
I haven't managed to make it work. Is it possible at all? I tried to move some .journal files into their own dedicated folder like /var/log/journal/host1 and restarted Cockpit. But it still does not contain any remote journals.
