Hyperparameter default values

Hello, and apologies for the interruption. I have searched for this information without success in the literature and in various computer science forums. I would kindly like to ask how the default values of the hyperparameters are determined for this implementation. I also would like to know, if there is a technique or framework, whether any bibliographic references exist.

Based on very outdated heuristics. Don't put too much trust into the defaults.

There's a proposal to re-define the default values #4986 In addition, you can use domain-specific information or a auto tuning framework like optuna.
