Presumably the official bagit 1.5.4 can replace 1.5.4.dev-4? (what aboug bagit-profiles-validator?)

Unfortunately, this is not so simple. BDBag uses a modified version of the bagit 1.5.4 source: https://github.com/ini-bdds/bagit-python and will not work with the current publicly released bagit-python code. Since I suspect that it is very unlikely that they will accept a PR with my changes, the only way to make this easier would be to include the modified source versions of bagit and bagit-profiles-validator with the BDBag code, and the BDBag code itself could be uploaded to PyPi. |

Not sure what changes you have done -- if this is effectively a fork of bagit-python then yes it should be repackaged under a different name. |
