I vote to "Link to Fertilizer Item inside Fertilizer doctype"

• It is an item that needs to be purchased and stock maintained/ tracked in its own warehouse. DRY!
• The properties of fertilizer should be tracked as in this doctype (N, P, K, etc), as detailed above
• In US English, always spelled with a 'z', what is the standard spelling in India (and use that)?
