Hi there Kitada31.
In the last few days I've read people claiming that they're still using ReVanced for Android 5-7 by changing thr spoofing to version 19.01.34. Is there any chance that this could be truth?

By the other hand, after noticed that I tried to test it myself, but using your last manager and patches, in the resulting YouTube version I can't find any place where to modify the version to spoof but spoofing itself and other options like androidtv and iOS spoofing.

That said, is there any chance that that spoofing hack could actually bring ReVanced for Android 5-7 to life again?

YES!!! But only for Andr6-7. For Andr5 its dead.

But what did you do? I tested it with latest manager and patches in android 6 and it doesn't work...

If you follow install instructions tho for Andr6-7, I can log in with my Google acc and I can see all my play history, all features work and the few bugs that kitadai mentions are not really anything major - so ya, it's still working. On one of my many roms an AOSP 7.1.2 rom the timer counting down from 10sec on first run to load the layout would freeze on 9-7sec, then the layout would not load and RVX would be broken - but on many other AOSP 7.1.2 roms I have it installs and works great, so I used Titanium to restore app data for RVX into the rom with the freezing counter problem, and that fixed it!
I collect old custom roms, I have hundreds and on one device I have 145 installed (with MultiRom) working old roms ranging from 4.4.2 to 7.1.2 and everything in between, so having RVX on half of those is a real treat for me.

I used the kitadai31 Manager app, I followed instructions on the Mnager app main page. The manager produced an RVX apk fine on 2 of my phones - the Sam Note8 (ARMv8x64) and the HTC M8 (ARMv732bit). I then followed the kitadai's install instructions and used the MicroG I posted above.
Install that MicroG first, open the MicroG interface and run self-check and tap all check-boxes for permissions. Then install RVX apk. The tricky part is on first run of RVX you must wait for that 10 sec timer completely and even a few seconds extra, then kill the RVX either clear it from Recents or whatever way you turn it OFF so it's not running at all - then open it and go straight for the settings->RVX>!!!App version spoofing related!!! and turn on "Spoof App version", then CANCEL the restart prompt and enable "Freeze layout updates", now restart RVX, then sign in to your Google acc - that's it, you can then go through all settings, see which features work, but mostly everything works.
