set-tab-color: Error: i/o timeout

Hello, I execute this command:

❯ kitty @ set-tab-color --match title:SSH active_fg=#000000 active_bg=#ffcc00
Error: i/o timeout

why? How can I investigate this issue?

Start by providing a complete and minimal example of what you are doing with the required kitty config and steps to reproduce your problem. And incidentally, its kitten @ not kitty @. kitty @ is just a wrapper for kitten @ so avoid the overhead of calling the wrapper.
