Removal of version 2.8.9 — clarification & recommended LTS version

Hi Medusa team / community,

I was developing on version 2.8.9, but recently I noticed that version is no longer available (or has been removed). I’d like clarity on:

1. Why was 2.8.9 removed / unpublished / deprecated?
2. Is there a currently recommended “LTS” or stable version I should migrate to?
3. Are there breaking changes in moving from 2.8.9 to that version (or advice for migration)?

My environment / context:

1. Medusa packages in use: @medusajs/2.0.0
2. Node / npm / typescript versions
3. Any error logs or messages you saw when trying to install 2.8.9

migrating from 2.0.0 to 2.8.9
