Google Cloud Platform - Professional Cloud Architect

Overview

• The Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) is a professional exam (equivalent to AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
• The exam tests and requires hands-on proficiency, so it is important to practice as much as possible in labs.
• It is important to review and get familiar with the cases studies as they are directly used in the exam.

Role

• Design the cloud infrastructure to satisfy the needs of organizations
• Knowledgeable the best tools given the context and constraints of a project
• Build the infrastructure with the ability to scale and automate the operations

Exam format

• ~30-50% of the questions relates to the case studies
• ~30% of the questions are on low level technical subjects (gsutil, gke)
