Hi everyone, I have a Denon AVR-X1000. I have always used Music Assistant to play to this receiver via AirPlay without any issues. However, after a recent Music Assistant update, the receiver is now detected as an Apple TV 4K. If I disable the AirPlay player provider, I can play to this receiver again. The downside is that I can no longer play to my other AirPlay speakers. And it cannot be used in my player group.. I have already completely uninstalled Music Assistant several times, cleared the cache, and reinstalled it, but the problem keeps coming back as soon as I enable AirPlay again. I also cannot seem to make this receiver function only as a DLNA player. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? |

I don’t know why you would want to use DLNA over AirPlay but have you changed the Output Protocols https://beta.music-assistant.io/settings/individual-player/#output-protocols |

Well.... Renaming the Friendly name in the AMP hardware did the job!.. Maybe there is somewhere an entity that has the name or ID. Anyways, everything works again.
Thank you OzGav for your help! :)
