We totally get the frustration. Here's what should get you the rest of the way: Navigate to Settings → Copilot → Features — and switch everything off (suggestions, chat, CLI, etc.). If you're seeing it in your editor, uninstall both the GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat extensions from the Extensions panel. Please refer to our documentation on how to disable Copilot in VS Code and GitHub.com. For the broken captcha on the support page - try opening support.github.com/request in a private/incognito window. Browser extensions often interfere with it. Also, note that as in your last screenshot, what you see is already disabled Copilot in your settings and this is part of the UI experience which cannot be removed. This helps users to re-enable any settings when needed Hope this gets you unstuck! |

Copilot in GitHub
Body
I would like to entirely eradicate Co-Pilot from my account.
Going to settings and following the instruction given on the forum only does about one third of the job.
I wasted a lot of time on this and I never signed up for the thing.
Many suggested contacting support to complete the job but the support contact page is broken because the Captcha thing is broken and the form will not send.
The discussion topic on how to disable Co-Pilot is 2 years old(!)
