The "already used" message is expected, it just means the benefits are already attached to your GitHub account. You don't need to reapply, you just need to get your 2FA working again on the new machine. A few options:
Once you're back in, remove the old authenticator entry and re-enroll with your new device. Your student benefits and Copilot access will still be there since the underlying account hasn't changed. |

Hi everyone,
Hi, I am a student and got my education benefits last year. I have since got a new computer and the authenticator is not working so I couldn't relogin to get my copilot set up again on R. I have tried to unlink my email to see if I can set up my education benefits again but it just says that my uni email has already been used to claim the education benefits. I am the same student, same uni email, doing the same degree. Can someone help me reactive it please?
