A few things to check after upgrading from the student plan to Copilot Pro+ ($39/month):

1. Verify the upgrade actually went through.
Go to https://github.com/settings/billing/summary and confirm the new plan is listed there. Sometimes the upgrade processes but the old plan lingers if there was a concurrent active subscription.

2. Sign out and back in VS Code.
Plan changes don't always propagate to existing IDE sessions. In VS Code:

• Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P)
• Run GitHub Copilot: Sign Out
• Then sign back in
• Reload the VS Code window (Ctrl+Shift+P > Developer: Reload Window)

3. Check which plan VS Code recognizes.
After signing back in, click the Copilot icon in the status bar and look at "Manage Copilot" or check the model selector dropdown. Pro+ should show models like Claude Opus 4.6, Gemini 1.5 Pro, o3, etc.

4. If billing looks right but models are still missing.
This can happen if the student plan didn't fully deactivate before the Pro+ plan kicked in. Contact GitHub Support at https://support.github.com/contact with your billing confirmation and ask them to verify the subscription state on their end. Include a screenshot of your billing page.
