GitHub Education "Start an application" redirects to pricing page

Hi everyone,

My GitHub Education benefits were revoked, and I am trying to reverify my student status.

I followed the official documentation:
Apply to GitHub Education as a student -> Education benefits -> Start an application

However, when I click "Start an application", I am redirected to the GitHub Pricing page instead of the GitHub Education application / reverification form.

Because of this, I cannot access the application flow at all.

What I have already tried:

• signing out and signing in again
• using an incognito/private window
• using another browser

Additional finding:
I inspected the page source in DevTools and found that the "Start an application" button itself is rendered with an href pointing to the GitHub Pricing page, instead of the GitHub Education application / reverification flow.

So this does not seem to be a normal redirect after clicking. The button link itself appears to be wrong for my account.

This appears to be an account-specific issue. Has anyone seen this before, and is there a way to restore the GitHub Education application flow?

Additional clarification:

This is not just a normal redirect after clicking.

I inspected the page in DevTools and confirmed that the "Start an application" button itself is rendered with an href pointing to the GitHub Pricing page for my account, instead of the GitHub Education application / reverification flow.

So the issue seems to be account-specific page rendering or routing, not just a browser-side redirect.

If a GitHub staff member sees this, could you please confirm whether the Education benefits page for my account is misconfigured?
