I was rate limited for 28 hours this time yesterday (the new weekly rate limit). I've been using the 'Auto' model as suggested by the rate limit message.
Now, approximately 24 hours later, I'm rate limited for 18 hours. So it appears that Auto is counting towards rate limits too.
Not sure if this is the intended behaviour. But if Auto is intended to be available as a fallback for users while waiting for their rate limits to be released, counting it towards those limits does seem to defeat the purpose.
