I've always had unlimited completions when signed out. Are they gone?

I've never signed in and would have UNLIMITED completions. For the past couple of days all it does is it logs errors like:
[error] [CopilotInlineCompletionItemProvider] _provideInlineCompletionItems: [uxe [Error]: GitHubLoginFailed

I admit I've tried signing in a couple of times in the past with a free account, but after experiencing limits (after approximately two days of completions) I realized I'd better sign out. And it would work again, flawlessly. But now it doesn't anymore. However, I don't see any updates in that regard from Copilot. Is that just rough times?

What action I've tried to take to see if I can get it to work again:
1)Reload window, restart VS Code, reboot pc, even SIGN IN and sign back out (ah yes it does work when signed in, but I prefer unlimited)
2)Deleted \AppData\Roaming\Code\User\globalStorage\github.copilot-chat
