Hi everyone,
GitHub canceled my Copilot Pro subscription because of a payment issue. I've since updated my payment method, but now I'm unable to reactivate my subscription due to the new restrictions on Copilot Pro signups
The situation:
According to GitHub's documentation, existing subscriptions can still be managed, but canceled subscriptions can't be restored while the signup pause is in effect.
Issue date: April 23, 2026
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a way to restore a previously active subscription, or do we just have to wait until the signup restrictions are lifted?
