Copilot in GitHub
Body
I was an active Copilot Pro subscriber. My subscription was involuntarily canceled by the system due to a renewal payment failure, not by my choice. I have already updated my payment method with a valid credit card.
Since GitHub paused new Copilot Pro sign-ups on April 20, 2026, the system is incorrectly treating my subscription recovery as a "new signup", which is blocked.
I am NOT a new user — I only lost Pro access because of a billing failure. Please manually restore my historical Copilot Pro entitlement (do NOT create a new subscription).
