GitHub Copilot in Eclipse intermittently fails with ETIMEDOUT / canceled stream / no choices received

I’m a paid GitHub Copilot customer requesting support for repeated failures in Eclipse.

I am seeing intermittent Copilot failures during normal use. Exact errors observed:

connect ETIMEDOUT 140.82.114.6:443
The pending stream has been canceled
Oops, no choices received from the server

Symptoms:

Copilot sometimes fails to return any response
Some responses stop mid-stream
This has happened multiple times in Eclipse

Please help determine whether this is:

a known GitHub Copilot service issue,
an Eclipse plugin/integration issue, or
a network/proxy/VPN-related connectivity issue.

Environment:

IDE: Eclipse
Product: GitHub Copilot
Most recent occurrence: June 4, 2026 [add your time/timezone]
Network: [home / corporate / VPN / proxy]
Frequency: intermittent, repeated
