Hello GitHub Support,

I’m currently subscribed to the GitHub Copilot Pro+ annual plan at $390/year, and my subscription is active until April 1, 2027.

I’m considering upgrading now to GitHub Copilot Max, and I’d like to confirm how billing would work in this case. Specifically, would the unused portion of my current Pro+ annual subscription be credited or prorated toward the new Copilot Max plan, or would I be charged the full Max annual price immediately?

If possible, could you also let me know the exact amount or billing method that would apply before I upgrade?
