Playlist comes back and plays from start

This code is meant to transfer the playlist to another player, then play radio 4 for three minutes for the news, and then return the queue back again and, if it was playing, return it to playing.

However, when the queue comes back again, it starts playing the current track from the beginning. What am I doing wrong here please?

I'm not sure whether this is back to the other issue I've got with the dummy player being a home assistant voice... but this was working before the MA upgrade that merged the players... so I'm not sure what I'm dealing with.

If you use the API which I am sure is what we did then there is no liimtation

The API broke and when I prodded AI for why it broke, it said that the API was now restricted to current and next tracks, so I abandoned it. This was a number of months ago so unfortunately I don't have any notes other than my failing memory

Never trust the AI....

I even have this exact thing in the docs. Probably what broke is the need now for authentication. You use a long lived token and this is shown in the example https://www.music-assistant.io/api/

I went through the authentication with token thing. That didn't solve it. When I looked at the data coming back from the API, it was just current and next. But I'll give it another look as it's been a few months.

Sitting here thinking about it... transferring the queue transfers the whole kit and kaboodle including played items and goes beyond 500 (some of my playlists are large) so there is a preference to transfer rather than use the API... especially as I've ripped the code out and have put effort into the playlist transfer way of things... so I'll continue on this line and fall back to the API if I can't.
