youtube music slow when selecting music

Hi team,

currently have HA running on top of a windows 11 laptop using virtual box with an i7 7th gen ,so im not sure if this is a hardware or setup issue

I have setup Musis assistant with audiobook shelf and youtube music to run on sonos speakers, however i noticed that when selecting tracks or playlist in YTM it takes about 10 seconds to play. I tested the YTM sonos app and it is about 2 seconds

Sonos does have its own buffer as well so that will add to the latency but @MarvinSchenkel can advise

YTM does not officially allow third parties to playback music. We have to do a lot of black magic to get this to work.

This work is pretty CPU intensive so if you have a slow host, this could be the culprit. On my device it takes 2-5s. But still, there is nothing we can do about this.

Google is making it harder and harder to make ytm at all. Other parties like Sonos are using a closed api for playback that we simply cannot use.
