"Input" is applied before the EQ, while "Output" is applied after them. But keep in mind that increasing volume in software will have an effect on the sound quality, it won't be clipping if you keep the (by default enabled) limiter on, but it will still compress louder sounds. |

In a Player's DSP settings, Gain can be set separately for 'Input' and 'Output'. What's the difference?
I understand the technical difference of course, but in practical terms, what effect would one have compared to the other? If one wants to increase a Player's basic volume, which Gain would be best to use?
