Unfortunately I have never tested ground-station on a mac, any mac, I dont own one. I think the arm64 builds which are available should work but the USB parameters I suggest people use are for linux OS. I would suggest looking this information up somewhere and see what works for a mac as the USB device use goes. I would also appreciate you updating this thread with what you find. |

For Windows 10/11 I think there is a procedure you can follow (using usbipd) that will allow you to attach usb devices to the WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) which Docker Desktop uses. Search for usbipd and ask an LLM for procedure on how to attach USB devices in WSL. This way you can use USB devices in ground-station. I have not tested this. You should keep in mind that ground-station allows you to use SDRs through LAN. So if you have a RTLSDR (like in the screenshot above), run rtl_tcp so that it listens on all interfaces and then in ground-station when you add a RTLSDR TCP device instead of 127.0.0.1, use the internal host ip of docker (not sure which one it is) or use the LAN ip address. That should work. As far as Mac OS is concerned, I dont own a mac so I cant really test anything, I would appreciate someone exploring that. |
