• Validate GITHUB_BEFORE_SHA before using it.
• Fix GITHUB_BEFORE_SHA initialization on push events when pushing the first commits. Fix GITHUB_BEFORE_SHA initialization on push events #5096 fixed this initialization for push events that are not the first.
