<h4>Tech Night LDN</h4>
<p>Tech Night LDN is a mini-conference packed with talks, workshops and networking for students and recent graduates who are curious about technology. Expect an evening of inspiration and motivation.</p>
<p>We believe that in order to truly make strides towards achieving diversity in tech, we need to include all genders and different races in the conversation. Even if you’re new to technology, or are really passionate about it, join us!</p>

<h6>CEO, Flock</h6>
<p>Ed is the CEO of Flock, a London-based insurtech startup that uses Big Data to identify and quantify the risks of individual drone flights; Flock’s first product is a pay-as-you-fly insurance solution for piloted and autonomous drones. Flock recently closed a seed round with downing ventures.
Ed recently graduated with an MPhil in Technology Policy from Cambridge University Judge Business School, where he specialised in autonomous systems and policy for emerging technology. He has worked with multinational tech firms such as Facebook, lectured at Chinese Universities, and had research published by various think-tanks.</p>

<h6>Founder & CEO, Blaze</h6>
<p>Emily is the CEO and Founder of Blaze. Blaze are an urban mobility brand providing technology for bike sharing schemes and consumer cyclists globally. Blaze’s consumer lights are shipping around the world to over 60 countries, while their integrated technology is being built into the fleets of hire bikes in London and New York. These products collect data from the bikes and are bluetooth enabled. Emily began reading Physics at Oxford University, but left to pursue Product Design. The Laserlight was her final year project and she started Blaze to make it a reality.</p>

<h6>Co- Founder & CTO, Magic Pony Technology</h6>
<p>Zehan is an engineering manager at Twitter, where he leads a team of researchers andengineers developing features and technologies which provide new and better visualexperiences for Twitter users. He was previously co-founder and CTO of Magic Pony Technology, which came out of EF and was later acquired by Twitter in June 2016. Prior tothat, Zehan did a PhD at Imperial College London on medical image analysis usingcomputer vision and machine learning.</p>

<h6>Partner, Balderton Capital & Co-Founder, Blinkx</h6>
<p>Suranga joined Balderton as a General Partner in 2014. He was previously an entrepreneur and engineer.Suranga founded blinkx, Cambridge in 2004. He then led the company for eight years as CEO through its journey of moving to San Francisco,building a profitable business and going public in London where it achieved a peak market capitalisationin excess of $1Bn. Before founding blinkx, Suranga was an early employee at Autonomy Corporation -joining as an engineer in the Cambridge R & D team and ultimately serving as the company's US CTO in San Francisco.</p>

<p>Zahra is a full-stack iOS developer at Bloomberg. She recently graduated from UCL with a ComputingBSc, where she was the former Director of Events at UCLU TechSoc and led organisation of events suchas the last Tech Night LDN. She's also a student hackathon veteran, having worked her way up fromattendee to organiser to judge, and was a member of the first cohort of Clarifai Champions.</p>

<p>Umesh is the Co-Founder of Pace Ventures, an innovation consultancy that works withgovernments, corporates and charities on their innovation capability. Through workshops,hackathons, accelerators and consulting projects, Pace Ventures helps broker relationshipswith startups and SME's.</p>
<p>Umesh is also the co-founder of Pi Labs, a property accelerator in London has been involvedwith startups and accelerators for the last 4 years. He is also a former BusinessDevelopment Associate at Oxygen Accelerator and Techstars London.</p>

<p>Jennifer has studied Electronic and Telecoms Engineering (MEng) at the University of Sheffield. Having graduated in 2015 she joined Vodafone Group’s Technology programme and is now on her 3rdplacement working in the Systems Architecture team. Jennifer has worked on a range of interestingprojects from collaborating with suppliers for a catalyst project in order to deliver more personalisedcustomer experience to learning about open API’s and how we can use this to deliver a better service toour customers.</p>

<h4>Abidemi Sanusi</h4>
<h6>Writer & FinTech Specialist</h6>
<p>Abidemi Sanusi has led what is best called a portfolio business life. She started off as a human rights worker, wrote a book on sex slavery, which was subsequently nominated for the prestigious Commonwealth Writers’ Prize, after which she decided to concentrate on her three passions: writing, business and digital. She worked as a digital consultant in the charity, private and public sectors, most notably for the Cabinet Office and Unilever, before setting up her own content agency, specialising in FinTech sectors.</p>

<p>Leila is a founding partner at Kindred Capital, a new seed stage venture capital fund based in London. Leila is both an investor and an entrepreneur, with over a decade of operating experience in technology businesses across three continents. She trained with Bain & Company before moving to Silicon Valley to be the General Manager of Kleiner Perkins backed consumer internet business Plum District, and then onto cofound a health technology business that spun out of Stanford called GenapSys for which she raised $50M in venture capital funding and built a 70 person team. Leila is a mathematician by training with a first class degree from Yale University and a Harvard MBA.</p>

<p>Matthew works in ad technology sales at Google. After completing a degree in mathematics, he started his career as in analytical roles in media startups. As a programmatic specialist at Google, he now develops data driven advertising solutions for brands you know very well and use everyday.</p>
