Overview
Phase 34 introduces brain-inspired neuromorphic computing into the ASI-Build cognitive architecture. Unlike conventional artificial neural networks that process data in synchronous, dense matrix operations, neuromorphic systems use event-driven spiking neural networks (SNNs) that communicate through discrete spikes โ mirroring the temporal dynamics of biological neural circuits.
This phase bridges the gap between conventional deep learning and biological neural computation, enabling energy-efficient, temporally-aware processing that complements our existing cognitive modules.
