We, as members, contributors, and maintainers of Academeez, pledge to make coding knowledge open source, professional, and welcoming to both beginners and experts.
We are committed to creating a community where education is free and accessible to everyone.
We aim to provide an inclusive and harassment-free experience for all, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or political views.
Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Focusing on what is best for the community
- Showing professionalism in discussions and shared resources
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Harassment, insults, or derogatory comments
- Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
- Political, racial, or religious discrimination
- Excessive promotion, spam, or disruptive conduct
- Any behavior that would be deemed inappropriate in a professional setting
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing the standards of acceptable behavior.
They have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, contributions, code, or other communications that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
Maintainers are expected to take fair and consistent action in response to violations and to prioritize the well-being of the community.
This Code of Conduct applies to all Academeez spaces, both online and offline.
It applies to communication channels including, but not limited to:
- GitHub repositories
- Discussion boards
- Chat platforms
- Courses, workshops, or events hosted by Academeez
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by emailing conduct@academeez.com.
All complaints will be reviewed, investigated, and result in a response that is appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of any incident.
Project maintainers will use these guidelines to determine the consequences of an action they deem to be in violation of this Code of Conduct:
- Correction – A private, written warning about inappropriate behavior.
- Warning – A public or private warning, with clear expectations for improved behavior.
- Temporary Ban – Temporary suspension from participation in project spaces.
- Permanent Ban – Permanent removal from all Academeez spaces.
If you feel an enforcement action was taken unfairly, you may appeal by contacting conduct@academeez.com. All appeals will be considered carefully and fairly.
