submitting JCL using command palette and following link causes "cannot set property 'dirty' of undefined" error

I am using Zowe explorer v1.21.0.

To reproduce the problem:

1. Submit a job using the Zowe Explorer: Submit JCL command palette
2. click the popup JOBID link
3. Job is in INPUT state
4. Attempt to look at the DDs
5. Receive the following error until I "refresh" the job:

Tested this with the latest release of Zowe Explorer and wasn't able to recreate the issue. This issue is likely exclusive to v1 of Zowe Explorer.

I was testing and the command pallet option works in the v2 for sure but I so see a bug when user escapes prompt, I can look into that
