Logging via ZE API

With more functionality being moved from ZE to the ZE API package we notice logging is lacking from ZE to help with troubleshooting. What can we do to improve this situation?

We can discuss in this thread options.

I have one thought were we can introduce an optional logger parameter passed to ZE API methods that extenders or users of the ZE API can still have logging done for actions taken within an API.

Please share any alternative options.
