The most recent release (2025.12.001) used OASIS3-MCT source code from the upstream GitLab repo.
This is not supported by the build-cd pipeline.
Also for important model components we need to have excellent "deep time" provenance that is tracked in our release DB

For reliable long-term provenance the source code needs to under our control, so in a fork or copy in our organisation.
To close this issue the updated code needs to be pushed to our OASIS3-MCT repo and some updates to the oasis3-mct spack package to add version information.
