4xCO2 with CICE5

Following on from #80 , I did a 4xCO2 run with CICE5

The config tested is here

and the results are in /g/data/tm70/as2285/experiments/esm1.6-4xCO2-202504-cice5_restart100

The ECS looks basically identically when compared to cice4 output.

cice4 has

ECS ESM1-6 (150 years) 3.357

cice5 produces

ECS ESM1-6 (150 years) 3.381

Using the resampling method from Andrews et al 2012 https://doi.org/10.1029/2012GL051607 gives the standard deviation of the ECS as about 0.07 and the CICE4 and CICE5 results are well within this.
