Prompt window has immense lag over remote connection.

This is on an internal network, via a connection from another device to local PC. The prompt window works fine for the first use, but after that it becomes unusable. It updates at a rate of about 1 character every 5 or 6 seconds, making it impossible to type or delete anything.

Strange, it consistently happens for me.
I have enabled negative prompts and the listen option, but otherwise it's an up to date install.

Another gradio-based gui had the same problem when there were lots of images. If I understand correctly, all the images get sent over the wire with every keystroke. If you're opening the GUI in a browser on the server machine, you may not notice anything. But if you're opening the GUI in a browser on a remote machine or device, this causes serious lag when typing.

Definitely seeing immense lag on iOS 15, iPad pro 2021. It appears that the UI is updated with each keystroke, and if a high resolution image is in the preview window, it lags horribly (unusable over 1024x1024) since it has to be redrawn after every input. This includes sliders and options tabs.

I see this with both Safari and Chrome on iPadOS as well. The more images in the previous generation, the worse it is. With more than a few images, it becomes largely impossible to use without reloading the page after every generation in order to clear the images.

Okay, this seems to happen more on Safari, if anything, mobile and desktop.
This seems to line up with what others have experienced, as WebKit/Safari is used on iOS/iPadOS regardless of the browser.

Using e.g. Opera GX on macOS, interactive controls seem to remain responsive.

This problem is only on iPad Pro. I've managed to get hold of a MacBook Pro to test with and it works fine on that.

On iPad, all web browsers (even Chrome) use the same Safari rendering engine.

As mentioned in the upstream issue, it seems like removing h-full from the Image component classes (this line) seems to remedy the issues mentioned in the upstream issue, as shown here.
