TeslaMate is now installed and collecting data, with Tesla Fleet remaining the command/control path.
Follow-up scope:
- Inventory TeslaMate MQTT topics/entities once enough vehicle data has accumulated.
- Compare TeslaMate-derived telemetry with the existing Tesla Fleet entities.
- Add read-only Home Assistant sensors only where they provide clear value for dashboards, history, or automations.
- Keep vehicle commands/control on Tesla Fleet unless there is a specific reason to change that.
