This library is part of his KiCad tutorial. Keeping it unmaintained affects the long term support of his tutorial

When I first commented on this issue above, I considered maintaining a fork myself but decided against it (since the library is positioned as a company resource it didn’t feel like the right approach). Ultimately, the best solution would be for a current maintainer to add another active maintainer - someone who regularly uses KiCad, this library, and GitHub, so progress can actually be made.
