Minimal deployment architecture for small research teams

Hi!

The project infrastructure stack is based on terraform+ansible+kubernetes. For use cases such as a relatively small research team (~10 members) considering to self host DashVERSE, the stack can introduce a significant operational surface area. Do you think it would be viable to provide a minimal deployment setup with fewer dependencies? I was considering docker compose as an orchestration tool without worrying on scalability issues.

Hi @thodkatz,

DashVERSE was designed to be scalable and is not very resource demanding. The current stack allows deployment to a cloud platforms.

For a small team perhaps you could choose one of the lightweight Kubernetes versions below.

Currently there is no plan to implement docker compose as an alternative to Kubernetes but contributions are more than welcome!
