MouseEvents on InLineCssTextArea

Hi Tomas,
I am trying to listen to mouse events in the inlineCSS text area, but it does not seem to trigger any event. Can you verify on your end?

Mouse events are consumed by StyledTextArea. This is in accordance with JavaFX TextArea, or other UI controls. Why do you need to listen to mouse events? You should still be able to listen to mouse events by registering an event filter (area.addEventFilter(...)).

Hi Thomas as always thanks for the quick response. The reason why I need
mouse events is that I would like give the user the ability to do some
tasks with mouse right clicks like applying style A to a selected range. I
can do that with button in the interface but I wanna try to eliminate the
need for buttons whenever possible. There are other cases too.
I'll report back on my progress.

Sounds reasonable. Actually, I wanted to give the user the possibility to customize the right-click menu, but the idea hasn't been fully fleshed out yet.

I will just close this, since the text area no longer has a right-click menu and right clicks are no longer consumed. You can create and display your own menu on right click.
