Hitting ESC while text is selected, erases it. (tested with richtextfx demo)

Hi Tomas,
I noticed that hitting ESC when a selection is made in text, deletes that selection. I tried this with the demo from the latest release.
Is this by design?

I think this causes a conflict with the popup support. I use ESC to hide popups, so if something was selected (sometimes I use popup on selections), it hides popups and deletes text.
