Unfortunately, I received the following email about how recordings will be deleted from harvard.zoom.us:

This is bad news not only for DataverseTV ( https://dataverse.org/dataversetv ) but any working groups that use harvard.zoom.us to store recordings from meeting. These are the ones I'm aware of:

I don't think that Panopto is the best place, given their preservation policy: "Videos are archived after two years and deleted after four years."

Two preservation possibilities are:

• Harvard Sharepoint (10GB per site)
• Youtube (with videos organized with playlists)
  • There is an IQSS Youtube, but a new account (e.g., for GDCC) might be a better home
  • We could consider using the Center for Scientific Collaboration and Community Engagement (CSCCE)'s Youtube channel as a model. Note the useful playlists.
