Hi, thanks for reporting. You cut off the bottom bar in the video - does the progress indicator say restoring or loading solution, until the syntax highlighting appears?

Syntax highlighting comes from the Roslyn workspace, requiring the solution to be loaded first, which is why it won't appear immediately. And the more projects in a solution, the longer it will take to load.

@MattParkerDev VS Code shows TextMate-based highlighting before the language server is ready to start semantic highlighting. Maybe that's an option to consider (but if too complex we can ignore it).

#99 includes some "TextMate first, language server second" approach for other languages. But C# integration is done via Roslyn API right now, so I am not sure if "TextMate first, Roslyn second" can be added. Shouldn't be hard either.
