Solution

Repatch with the latest patches. You can verify you have the latest patches by checking YouTube Settings > Morphe > About

If you continue to have playback issues, then use Android VR sign-in and follow the instructions carefully: YouTube settings > Morphe > Miscellaneous > Spoof video streams > Android VR sign in

If you still have issues, or you want a video audio menu, then change to TV or Android Reels client in:
Settings > Morphe > Miscellaneous > Spoof video streams > Default client

Android Reels client may not work for some users.

If you still have issues then try Android Studio client.

Still having issues? Try a VPN to a different part of the world (try many different locations).

Currently, Kids videos can only be played on the TV client (Since Android VR does not support Kids video playback).

Some YouTube shorts won't play either, they only play if I don't spoof my client

I'm now getting this too on YouTube Morphe. Before the Android VR was working but after updating just now it no longer works and neither does Android Reels. Meanwhile I've had RVX Morphed installed (hate autoplaying Shorts, or anything really) and updated it tonight also it still works fine. It is set to Android VR. I'm afraid to change it now incase it breaks too.

@KageCM try a VPN go other countries and see if VR works again.

@LisoUseInAIKyrios that works. I used a free VPN, picked Canada and it now works fine. Even setting it back to Android Studio and turning off Spoof entirely.

@KageCM are you sure you're signed into Android VR?

It will say "Currently signed into Android VR" if sign-in is active.

@LisoUseInAIKyrios I'm not sure where it would say that but after using a VPN set to Canada I changed it to Android Studio and later turned off "Spoof video stream" entirely and it still works without the error. This is with restating the app several times while trying to figure out how to stop Shorts from looping (another thing I hate). So I'll probably be sticking to RVX Morphed for now.
