From @DavidEdell's notes: UI often flashes status for numerous actions. For many of these actions (including the error above), the message should stay on the screen, preferably with dialog showing details, unless dismissed. I'd suggest a floating window, and likely configuring it such that any new errors automatically dismiss the previous one, perhaps with details saved to the JS console for debug
