Have you tried these commands locally?

Yes. I ran them and they ran successfully. I was able to get a vagrant VM running but unable to run the make commands successfully. Python kept complaining about something related to jsonschema. I am pretty confident the purl redirects I need will work, so I gave up trying to fully test them.

The Vagrant and Ansible stuff was built in 2015. Since then Docker has eclipsed them both. A couple of years ago @abessiari added Docker configs that are used for the production system. They should also work for local testing, but our documentation hasn't been updated to reflect that.

Good to know. I noticed docker in the repo but wasn't sure of its status (complete or not) and didn't dig into it. Thanks for letting me know.
