Error during WebODM installation on Windows 11 – ports are not available (TCP 8000) #1988

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to install WebODM on my system, but I’m getting the following error during the installation/startup process:

Error response from daemon: ports are not available: exposing port TCP 0.0.0.0:8000 -> 127.0.0.1:0: /forwards/expose returned unexpected status: 500

System specifications:

Operating System: Windows 11

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700

RAM: 32 GB

GPU: 4 GB VRAM

Docker Desktop is installed (WebODM itself is not fully installed yet)

From what I understand, the error seems related to port binding (port 8000), but I’m not sure what exactly is blocking it or how to fix it on Windows 11. I’ve already tried restarting Docker and the system, but the error persists.

Has anyone encountered this issue before on Windows?
Any suggestions on how to identify what is using port 8000 or how to properly configure Docker/WebODM to avoid this conflict?

Thanks in advance for any help.
