Describe the issue

I can not download the dataset from ESGF metagrid or esgpull.
The ESGF site keeps saying There was an issue fetching search results. Please contact support or try again later.

I also can not find the data on any other node. Tried DKRZ, CEDA, NCI. And LLNL, LiU and IPSL do not work either.

I managed to download FZJ-CMIP-ozone-h-1-0 from ORNL so I know the node works.

The ESGF-US API for data discovery has been under heavy load from requests scraping data. The team at ORNL is working to mitigate the issue so service can be restored.

@joakimkjellsson there are Globus direct links to data which should work - this will work around the current outage. Can you identify which data you're chasing please? See if these links work below (require a Globus login):

input4MIPs/CMIP7/CMIP/FZJ
CMIP7/ScenarioMIP/FZJ

Just peeked the DKRZ node link here and the CEDA node link here and it seems neither have the ScenarioMIP CMIP7 FZJ datasets replicated and published - hopefully soon!

Hi @durack1 @znichollscr @sashakames. Thanks for the suggestions. I used globus in the end and downloaded what I needed manually.

It was just O3 for the VL scenario (2 files) and I was missing CH4 conc for h-1-1-0.
Got it all now, so I'm good.

Thanks again! Hope the server issues are solved soon.
